That's because lighting for live streaming isn't really about brightness. It's about where light lands relative to a screen you're looking at and a camera that stays locked to one exposure for hours. Your monitor is a reflective surface, your background is a composition target, and your camera is a metering device that reacts to whatever is on screen.
